Over 70 years we have delivered over 30 million hours of care, education, therapy and support. Since the opening of our first school in 1953, the Percy Hedley Foundation has been committed to supporting people with disabilities to live their best lives possible. 12 pupils walked through the door in 1953 and fast forward to today; we support over 600 people every week across our education, learning, activity and residential services. The Foundation now supports people with complex learning difficulties, disabilities and additional communication needs, thanks to our team of over 1000 specialist staff. Running the Foundation is expensive, costing nearly £40m a year and support from businesses is crucial to enable us to continue offering the best services, equipment and buildings.
