Northern Counties School Round Up
Check out our round up from Northern Counties School.
What a busy year we have had, a lot of changes around NCS, including refurbishment of main building and and we will be finished the refurbishment of the Hillcrest building by October 2023.
We have introduced a wonderful new curriculum for all our wonderful learners, which has brought a lot of joy and new ways to learn. As you can see by the wonderful pictures there has been a lot of Activity learning across the school with some fun and laughter too.
Thanks to all our amazing students, their families and all the staff for a great year and I look forward to seeing you all again in September.
Remembering Her Majesty the Queen
At the beginning of the year, students created artwork to celebrate the life of Her Majesty the Queen, which was displayed throughout the school.
Last September, Amber’s Innowalk was officially opened. Amber sadly passed away in July 2021 and her mam, Emily Giles raised a staggering £38,000 for the Percy Hedley Foundation in her memory to purchase an Innowalk for the school.
