Dress up as a celebrity
Various celebrities have famously dressed in purple. Or you could take inspiration from a celebrity and dress similarly.
The possibilities include:
- Prince – perhaps the most famous and you can rock out to Purple Rain whilst wearing purple.
- Madonna – channel 80s vibes with a purple tutu and armbands. Want to go full on 80s? Bring out the purple shell suit, sweatbands or inflatable purple boombox and guitar, and dance the night away.
- Channel Taylor Swift by dressing up in a ‘Lavender Haze’ – If there are any Swifties out there you could even do a Taylor Swift Purple Party by dressing up in different outfits to represent the various Era’s (your purple could be a purple accessory or a purple drink).
- Have a Purple Carpet Night – red carpets are out, purple carpets are in, celebrate in style with purple frocks and suits and feel like a celebrity on the runway.

Immerse yourself in the full fancy dress experience by dressing up as a character. For this you can either buy your costume outright from party stores or DIY it. You could even host a competition for the best fancy dress outfit.
