Family Liaison updates 26 November 2021
Just 3 weeks to go until the end of what is a long term. A month from now Christmas Day will have passed. At school, plans are in hand to ensure our students enjoy the run up to the big day in school.
My Family Liaison role is:
To act as a point of contact for families within our school community in need of support, advice and information.
To help identify, and address the needs of those families and implement means of support through workshops, school communications etc.
Pre COVID, I regularly met parents/carers visiting school. Until we return to this please remember that I am here to support and be a means of communicating with school. This is enhanced through my links with the PTA, and the involvement of our Parent Governor in meetings.

What’s coming up.
Winter Wonderland, which was really popular last year returns on the7th and 8th December under the direction of the MOVE Physiotherapists. This will be a whole school event, adjusted to meet the needs of all. The majority of props will be funded by the PTA, meaning we have them for years to come. As a PTA we want to be cost effective too and provide for the future.
True Colours Theatre Group will be in school on the 14th and 15th working with all classes. This has been funded by the PTA.
Carols round the Christmas Tree. We hope to invite parents/carers in on Thursday 17th December to share some music and refreshments. I should clarify that, under COVID-19 restrictions this will be outside. Refreshments will be funded by the PTA.
All the above are subject to change whilst we safely manage COVID in school.
As always, I welcome contact with parents/carers and invite you to email or phone if there is any support I may be able to provide. My contact details are:
