Activities:
Newburn Activity Centre.
This has re-opened following COVID, and I thought ist worth sharing their page. It is a beautiful location, next to the river at Newburn and paths around Newburn Country Park are very accessible. There is free parking too.
I know some parents are interested in hiring adapted bikes. See below

PTA:
Plans for the summer fayre are progressing well. Ideally, we would like tentative or confirmed offers of help as soon as possible. This year, we hope to allocate time slots to avoid some volunteers working throughout last year, impacting on their ability to join in the fun.
We look forward to sharing more information on exactly what will be on offer within the next month or so.
True Colours:
The PTA agreed to fund 2 days activity for the whole school. I am reliably informed this will happen later this term and will let you know once we have details.
PTA Meeting:
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 17th May from 14.00-15.00.

We do intend offering a face to face option once decisions are made by our leadership team. I will advise of this as soon as I am aware. We have said that our plan is still to offer a virtual option alongside face to face.
We would love to see more parents/carers join meetings, which are for 1 hour each half term. The evening meeting was good, and we had some new parents join so it is likely this will continue. We are in a position whereby our 2 parent governors are also committee members. This can only be a good thing, to tie in with our aim of enhancing home/school communication.
