Charity of the Year is an opportunity to unite your staff behind an inspiring cause and to demonstrate your company’s commitment to making a difference in your community.

What You Can Do

Host Work Events

You can host fundraising events, from cake sales to sports days, or if you’re brave… sky diving, trekking and 24-hour challenges! Even things like encouraging employees to take part in Dry January or Movember.

Volunteer With Us

You can volunteer directly with the people you’re helping, whether it’s set days like the Great North Run, regularly or even help with gardening or painting, it is all appreciated.

Come To Our Events

We can invite you to Percy Hedley events and fun days out within our network, such as The Great North Run, Great North Swim or Great North 5k, or Christmas Fayres and Summer Fayres.

Provide A Service

Celebrate Our 70th Birthday

From a school with only 12 pupils in 1953, the Foundation now supports 650 members and their families every week, supported by over 1100 staff. We’d love it, if as many businesses as possibly chose our amazing charity for their 2023 Charity of the Year.

Our vision is ‘Inspire, Believe, Achieve’ and you can do just that by joining us in some amazing events, fundraising and promotions throughout 2023, raising thousands to help us continue to enhance the lives of disabled children, young people, and adults across the North East.
