Easter 2024 at the Percy Hedley Foundation

The sites around the Foundation celebrated Easter with lots of chocolate, and several parties!

Easter is always a fabulous time here at the Foundation, filled with chocolate, laughter and parties a plenty.

Carrying on a tradition here at the Foundation, the Widow Sons Motorcycle group came to deliver Easter Eggs for the students. They come to Northern Counties School annually, but now this year they also visited Hedley College as part of the BRIT Challenges (read more about those challenges here). As well as the chocolate treats, staff, students and members had the chance to sit on the bikes and see how they work.

Our students at Percy Hedley School were overjoyed when Ringtons visited the school to hand out Easter Eggs too!

Northern Counties school even held a Easter Disco to commemorate the end of the term.

Residential Fun

Tynehouse

Speaking of eggs, Tyne House held an egg competition and one of our staff had a very difficult decision to make. However, David’s egg eventually won and you can see all the joy in the photos below:

Wansbeck

Over at Wansbeck, residents held a Easter themed party, filled with fish and chips, Easter decorations and some goodie bags!

Chipchase

Chipchase residents met the Easter bunny on their adventures out at the Easter market! They also went to lunch at the Killingworth Arms and ventured to a Easter market.

Everyone had a fantastic time and we hope all our staff, students and members have had a lovely Easter break these last two weeks.
