Hedleys College Student Creates User Friendly Menus for Cafe
Hedleys College student Ben has been working on creating user friendly menus for the Springfield Cafe in Forest Hall.
A huge well done to Ben, for working really hard to create user friendly menus for Springfield cafe.
He has attended meetings, arranged phone calls and sent emails to Alan who runs the cafe and used his excellent IT skills to create these excellent menus.
The menus now have more pictures to explain various words and phrases. This is useful for a variety of people with disabilities, for example those who are non-verbal can point to the symbols to communicate.
This is a huge step for the cafe to become even more inclusive.
