Find out how you can support Percy Hedley this festive season

This year has been hard for everyone, particularly for people and children with disabilities, who face difficulties through a cost of living crisis and rising Covid-19 rates this Christmas. Help light up someone’s Christmas this year, with some of the ways you can get involved, donate, or fundraise.

Christmas Jumper Day 2022

This year, we’re putting a festive spin on Christmas Jumper Day. Every year we raise vital funds for Percy Hedley, but this year, in the name of festive spirit, we’ll be sharing out what we raise.

We’ll be having our annual Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 8th December 2022, the same day as Save The Children.

50% of the money raised will go to the Save The Children Fund and the other 50% will go towards important equipment, resources and more here at The Percy Hedley Foundation!

On top of that, the Government has pledged to give £2 for every £2 raised for Save The Children**, meaning we’ll be giving them double the amount raised.

**When you donate to Save The Children Christmas Jumper Day between 1 December and 1 March, the UK government will match your donation through UK Aid Match.

Letters From Santa Claus

This year we are offering parents, family members, friends, and everyone in between to have the chance to receive a personalised Christmas Letter! We have spoken to the great man himself and he will be personally signing every one again this year!

The letter will include their name, congratulate them on any exciting activities they have been up to during the year, and mention a friend’s name too (hopefully they have been good too!). It’s completely up to you.

The Christmas Letter is always a nice surprise for children who are getting excited about Christmas, especially coming all the way from the North Pole!

All of the money raised from the Christmas Letter will go towards the Percy Hedley Foundation and the great work we do across the North East of England.

We are suggesting a donation of £5 or £10 for the Christmas Letter, which will also come with a Naughty or Nice certificate, approved by Santa himself.

Orders close on Friday 9th December 2022 to allow our little elves time to send your letter in time for Christmas.
