The Role
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Cook to assist the Chef Supervisor in the day-to-day preparation of food and efficient running of the kitchen. The successful candidate will prepare, cook, and present food, to Foundation standards, under the direction of the Chef Supervisor. The successful candidate will also supervise and instruct staff and trainees, who are allocated to kitchen duties by the Chef Supervisor. A current Food Hygiene qualification is essential.
This is a term time only, part time role 20 hours per week Monday – Friday and is based in Hedley’s College in Killingworth
