Northern Counties Does Bake Off
Learners and staff at Northern Counties recently put their baking skills to the test.
Northern Counties School certainly gave Mary Berry a run for their money with a recent school-wide bake off!
Each class was given the exciting challenge of creating a cake as a team, working together to choose a theme, bake, and decorate. Throughout the process, classes documented their progress in different ways. Some created journals, while others assembled photo galleries to showcase each step of their work.
The competition was fierce – take a look at the incredible cakes that were made!
Once the cakes were complete, it was time for the judges to decide the winner. Scores were awarded for a variety of categories, including design, student participation, and of course taste.
After careful deliberation, the winner was decided: Beadnell Class!
Beadnell Class made an amazing creation of fish fingers, chips and peas, based on their favourite school dinner.
This competition was an excellent way for our learners to harness their creative side, work as a team, and enjoy tasting their hard work at the end.
Congratulations to every class!
