Hellens Group Opens the New Motor Sensory Suite at Percy Hedley School

Kate Hellens and Gavin Cordwell-Smith officially opened the new Motor Sensory Suite at Percy Hedley School, this is all down to money they raised during their 50th year.

During their 50th year of business Hellens Group, along with other businesses such as Barratt Homes, fundraised a total of £65,000. That money went towards the new Motor Sensory Suite which Kate Hellens and Gavin Cordwell-Smith officially opened at Percy Hedley School in January 2024.

Stephanie, one of our physiotherapists at Percy Hedley School said, “Thanks to Hellens Group, what we have now is a space which is fully accessible for all our students to practice their therapy.”

In the room there is a variety of soft play to help with MOVE (read more about the MOVE Programme at Percy Hedley School here), a swing and a sunken trampoline.
