Family Information and PTA News 4th November 2022
Welcome back. I hope that you did some nice things over half term. As always I appreciate your sharing these with me so that I can tell others. I never underestimate the value of parental perspectives and over many years have gained so much knowledge from other parents experiences.
16-19 Student Bursary.
Letters will soon be sent to families of students who are
- at least 16 and under 19 on 31 August 2022
and it is important that if you meet the eligibility criteria you return the forms. If you have any questions, please contact me. I am meeting with finance next week to discuss eligibility criteria, evidence gathering and will arrange a meeting with those parents who may be eligible afterwards. This could be in person or via TEAMS. Let me know what you would prefer. The bursary, for those eligible is to support 16-19 year olds in education/training and could be used as the contribution to next year’s residential trip. Generally, if your household income is less than £40,000 per annum you could be eligible for a bursary to cover additional costs of education.
