What is the Friends of Northern Counties School Group?
The Friends of NCS team is a link between the parents, governors, teachers and the wider community with the common aim of wanting to create the best possible learning environment for our students.
What is its role?
The role is to positively encourage growth here at NCS, for all the students by raising funds and organising social events and activities; and of course, doing it whilst having fun along the way! It is hoped that as many parent/family/carers get involved to some degree at some point in the future whether it be on the committee, helping at events or sharing ideas.
Objectives of the group:
- To be goodwill ambassadors for the school.
- To be a fundraising body for school projects.
- To be responsible for organising social events and fun activities for the children, parents and the local community.
- To be responsible for providing a support role to the school when the wider community is involved.
- To provide links between parents, teachers, students and the local community.
