Chipchase House and Ferndene are situated in the quiet residential area of Forest Hall approximately five miles from Newcastle.
We offer a choice of living options to meet the needs of the individual. All accommodation is single occupancy and ranges from single bedrooms with a shared kitchen, bathroom and toilet, or self-contained bed sitting accommodation with integrated kitchen, private bathroom and toilet.
Ferndene bungalows are set within a covered, secluded street and have one bedroom, an open plan kitchen and living area and a spacious bathroom. There is also a seating area where residents can gather for a chat and hold regular residents meetings.
We also have communal dining rooms where meals are served, two lounges for relaxing and taking part in activities and a quiet room. Wireless Internet is available.
All of our bathrooms have modern, specialist equipment to enable residents to bath safely and in comfort. Adapted kitchens are also available for those who would like to cook for themselves.
We aim to provide a personalised service that meets the needs and aspirations of our residents, promotes independence, dignity and respect and enables them to make the most of life.
