A study day in the use of GMFM and GMFCS

The Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) and the Gross Motor Classification System (GMFCS) are well recognised standardised tools used to evaluate change over time for children with Cerebral Palsy.

Percy Hedley Training are hosting a study day in using this standardised test and classification system, which is validated for use for children (aged 5 months to 18 years) with cerebral palsy.

SEN Conference for Support Assistants
A course aimed to develop SEN knowledge and skills in teaching and learning. Workshop style presentation - each discipline can decide the content of one or two workshops on offer.
 
Practical Remediation of Perceptual-Motor Dysfunction
Understand the various components of perceptual development; Appreciate how perceptual dysfunction impacts on a child's ability to learn; Access a range of practical solutions to address the needs of children with perceptual-motor difficulties.
 
Phonological Awareness: Assessment & Remediation
A course to develop understanding of phonological awareness and discuss and demonstrate tools for assessment and remediation.
 
P.E. - Is it Physical Education or Pupil Exclusion?
A one day course designed to help children with physical disabilities to access the P.E. and Sports curriculum.
