Judith James B.Ed. (Hons) N.P.Q.H.

Judith James is Headteacher at Northern Counties School which is part of the Percy Hedley Foundation. Judith has been with the Foundation for nine years beginning as a class teacher in 1997. She has taught across the entire age range in both mainstream and the non-maintained sector. This includes teaching children with a wide range of difficulties including cerebral palsy, hearing impairment, learning difficulties and emotional and behavioural problems. Judith has also had significant experience in teacher training and continues to support staff doing further education qualifications. She is enjoying her new role and particularly learning to sign.
