The factory and office space is a new work experience facility on the Orion Business Park, North Shields and will offer severely disabled people the chance to try out a range of work skills including printing packaging, design and marketing in a realistic business park setting.

Stephen Byers MP said "The opening of this facility is a real achievement and it is a tribute to Percy Hedley Foundation's mission of constantly pushing forward. The facility will give some severely disadvantaged people the dignity of working in a commercial environment".
