Blooming Success

Successful City and Guilds candidates receive their certificates.

Able2 Horticulture department have once again been successful in the North Tyneside in Bloom awards for their floral displays at Able2 and Chipchase House grounds and gardens.

Special Achievement Award winner Stephen Stubbs with Ian Macaulay

Stephen Stubbs, seen here collecting the Special Achievement award for Residential Care establishments from Chairman of the Council Ian Macaulay, is also one of the nine Able2 candidates who achieved City and Guilds Level 1 Horticulture skills awards this Summer.

Paul Ferris, Coordinator commented, "This award represents a combination of everybody's contribution to Horticulture this year and I would like to thank our Horticulture group, staff, students and volunteers who have worked hard in achieving the high standards that have led to this success".
