Artist in Residence at Northern Counties
This half term, Abi's class are working with the Northern Counties artist-in-residence, Kelly.

Joel learning how to communicate in a shop
Kelly is working with the pupils, teaching them how to make their own puppet of themselves. Their puppets have been used for social communication lessons.
So far, the Michael, Martin and Joel puppets have visited the local shop set and the swimming pool! The class have also made pages for a tactile book, based upon their puppet's outings.

Kelly is also working in the Post-16 ASD class. Gavin, Andrew, Scott and Christopher have made a variety of items to add to their sensory garden and vegetable patch.
