Mix and Match Groovers at the Sage Gateshead

A group of Northern Counties College students have recently completed the Sparks Music Course at the Sage Gateshead, an international music and education venue in the North east of England.

Starting from scratch the group of students called the Mix and Match Groovers created the music for their song using accessible computer music technology and wrote the lyrics as a group. They then rehearsed and recorded their song before their performance on the 23rd March 2009 when they played their music live for a sold out audience at the Sage Gateshead.

The music from composition to performance was their own original work, and they are justifiably proud of their efforts.
