Percy Hedley Foundation promotes the rights, needs and aspirations of disabled children and adults

Sixteen researchers met in Newcastle at a conference hosted by the Percy Hedley Foundation to

such "Blaydon Races" were sung with gusto at the Linskill Centre, ably

Alan Wilson, a Percy Hedley service user has completed training to become a travel support 'buddy'
through the Nexus Partners in Travel Scheme. Under the scheme, Alan will accompany people with learning
difficulties on bus and Metro journeys until they gain the confidence to travel alone.

at the Hilton Hotel was a glamorous occasion assisted by Butlers in the Buff and stilt walkers
in glistening gold top hat and tails. Willie Thorne conducted the charity auction with
fabulous prizes raising an amazing £56,000 towards a much needed new hydrotherapy
pool for disabled children.
