Percy Hedley Foundation is known as a practical charity providing much needed support and services for children and adults with complex disabilities and their families. All the money raised goes directly to provide vital specialist equipment, services and facilities in the North East. We are tremendously proud of what has been achieved with such generous support but are aware of what’s possible in the future.

Modern technology could transform the lives of people with severe disabilities. It could enable children without speech to communicate and those who cannot hold a book or pen to enter the world of learning. It could provide smart solutions in the home to increase independence and provide more opportunities for everyone to play a full and active role in the community. Young people are playing Powerchair Football for the first time, not just watching from the sidelines.

Help us to give children with disabilities the best possible start in life.
