Current Appeals

Our Sport for All appeal is still ongoing. We are still fundraising to provide more specialist sporting and fitness training equipment so that many more young people with disabilities in the region have a sporting chance. One of our priorities is to attract commercial sponsorship for the Powerchair Football team, Powerchair Rugby team and Boccia team to pay for equipment, sports kit and travel/accommodation costs for tournaments. We will continue to provide sporting opportunities for people with complex disabilities here in the North East and to continue to raise awareness of the need for disability sports.

Our new Integrated Nursery is operational but we still need to raise funds to provide more specialist therapy equipment, mobility and communication aids so that all the children can join together in play activities. We also would like to create exciting and stimulating outdoor play environments including a sensory garden play area. Future facilities will hopefully include a family resource centre and meeting rooms to provide information and support for parents of children with special needs.

Community Fundraising

Summer Fair photoWhether you belong to your local church, W.I., Brownies, Guides, Scouts, Rotary Club, choir, youth club or sports club we would love you to get involved. You could organise fun days, a sponsored swim or challenge, odd job days, charity stalls or raffles. We are also keen to visit your group to talk about our work.   1. Check with your payroll department that your company is registered with a Payroll Giving Agency.
  2. Complete a Payroll Giving Form.
  3. If you ever want to stop giving or change the amount you give, just contact your payroll department at work.
  4. If your company is not registered with a Payroll Giving Agency, please contact us and we can advise your employer how to sign up.

Fundraising in Schools
