Academy scores twice with local Rugby Events!

Two local rugby tournaments both came up trumps recently in aid of the Percy Hedley Academy for Disability Sports and its Sport for All Appeal.

The Novocastrians Rugby Club recently held a rugby tournament for local companies and the winner of the Fair Play award, a team from Connect Physio nominated the Sports Academy to receive a £200 donation.

Sage Rugby also held a Touch Tournament here at the Sports Academy in early August and the whole event was in support of the Sports Academy.

Entry fees as well as a raffle and beer tent / barbecue profits were donated to the Sports Academy which resulted in a huge donation of £850.

Our heart felt thanks go out to these two clubs as well as the many others who support the work of the Academy financially and in other ways.
